About Us
Welcome
to scienceaware.com, StudentAware’s web site for our high school
science-safety program, ScienceAware. We appreciate the letters, comments, phone
calls, and emails we receive each year. This year we’re even more proud of ScienceAware now that we’ve
added this web site. We’re looking forward to more letters and emails from
teachers and students as we continue to develop this web site into a one-stop
high school science resource for science safety, career information, and general
science links.
As an extension of the ScienceAware program we’ve provided you with free downloadable science safety materials. As we develop this site we’ll be adding more safety articles, quizzes, and other student handouts. Teachers, feel free to download them, make copies, and pass them around. And students, checkout the helpful links pages. You’ll find handy links for science projects, answers to how’s and why’s of science, and great science career information sites.
At StudentAware our intent is to supply teachers and students with useful free safety education materials of the highest quality. To ensure we are meeting your needs, take a few moments to contact us and tell us what you would like to see on this site. And if you have a "Weird Science" story you’d like to share, send it along – include pictures if you have them – and we may post it for everyone to enjoy. If you have a safety tip, program, or procedure that needs emphasis – send that to us as well. Send your suggestions and comments to info@scienceaware.com and let us know what you think of the program. We appreciate your photos as well. Send us a photo of your lab, your crew, or a great safety message or idea, along with a description and we may feature it here on the ScienceAware web site in the future.
